The Carob Mill will be the main point of reference and starting point for visitors. Here, gastronomic, cultural, artistic, and educational activities are combined around the carob, its history, and its products. The goal is the tourism development of the carob, in terms of its cultural value, as well as its nutritional properties and its contribution to gastronomy.

Carob Gastronomy Center:

  1. The Carob Mill hosts meals, cooking workshops, tasting events, and product creation activities based on carob, such as carob honey, carob bread, sweets, and snacks.
  2. Visitors have the opportunity to watch preparations and taste traditional Cretan recipes based on carob, in combination with local Cretan products such as olive oil, dairy, wine, honey, herbs, and others, while they can purchase local products such as carob flour, carob honey, honey, and other derivatives.
